ATN Night Scopes

Folks,
I'm just getting into the night hunting scene.
I've heard some bad vibes about the ATN thermal scopes. But I've never used one or actually seen one other than on the internet. If anyone is personally using one or has or had one, please inform me as to the Pros/Cons and do you recommend, would you purchase again. Their web site says made in USA. Maybe they're just good at marketing? I have no idea.
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.

I've HAD two ATN scopes. Both have had severe problems, screens blanking out, rangefinder not giving the right reading, batteries failing, the list goes on. My biggest complaint is the lack of customer support and the returning of the scopes from repair/warranty with the same problem. When it was pointed out, customer service said that that's all they can do. Emails and phone calls not returned.
I'm a Pulsar guy now. Two thermal scopes, two Digital Night Vision scopes and two thermal hand held scanners. Exceptional products and customer service.

I have an ATN Thor4 1-10 that I got THE deal on. I've never looked through another thermal, ever.

That said, I don't really like the Thor very much.

I got a thermal- ordered last yr, had a my fault oops, warranty returned in 2 days

Linked the able to it ( range finder), put in the cartridge/bullet ballistics-

Now it’s a push 1 button scope- your dialed in at almost any range..too easy !!!!
It’s hard to hide from heat !!!

Oh, unless you’re gonna “record, and post videos” any of there thermal scopes are great.!!!

A couple years ago, I wanted to dip my toes into the night scene, and ATN fit my budget.

After hours of research, it looked like ATN was the one to stay away, from due to horrible CS and a return rate of epic proportions.

Don't waste your time with Atn stuff.
Pulsar, Bearing optics, Iray, Addler thermals will be winners in all classes and customer service from those pounces atn into the ground

Several of my friends use ATN for fox shooting with good success.i can't recall any of them having trouble with their's.personally i use Pulsar.

Using ATN OTS LT Monocular4-8 and a Thor LT in 2-4 scope. Over 30 yotes this since September. This is my second season with these and have not had any problems with either product. Would I buy them again? Yes! Are they awesome? No but dead coyotes don't seem to care either way. And since dead coyotes are worth nothing, the ATN price suits me just fine. Leaves me more money to buy more thunder sticks.

I used ATN Thor 4, Pulsar XP50 thermion, Bering Optics Super Hogster and Super Hogster A3, Iray Rico MK1 42mm. The Pulsar and Iray are hands down the better thermals. If i was going to spend my money id buy Iray or Pulsar no doubt. My Iray 42mm has been a solid unit. No complaints and ive taken several coyotes now at over 300 yards with it on my 22-204 night rig!

Friends don't let friends buy ATN ;)

I also had a bad experience with their customer service, but it was about 8 years ago. Went Pulsar and never looked back. It seems with ATN if you get a good unit, you're fine.. if you get a bad one, things get worse from there. I have had a few issues with the Pulsars as well, but they step right up and take care of the issue no hesitation.

AGM,PULSAR,IRAY are the Top. I have been selling more AGM than any other lately, Use the agm myself with no issues at all. Their customer service is top notch. I have had issues with pulsar with customer service. This is not a negative on pulsar, Just one experience.

Price points are based on many factors, and also why popular items have multiple choices. Companies can only remain in business by maintaining profit margins(or have government friends willing to commit taxpayer dollars to support the company), customer service is an area where bean counters often suggest minimum expenditure. Why because there is no production profit in customer service.

Because of international sanctions Pulsar is more difficult to get. The company is dutch but many of the parts are being manufactured in Belarus. So, Europe in now flooded with Chinese stuff. ATN, Hikmicro, Infiray etc.
They all look ok, until they break. Once they break the customer service is terrible, Chinese do not stand behind their products. They want us to buy their stuff and have absolutely no business ethics. Do not support them.
