Atlas TH54 Lathe

Does anyone have information on an Atlas Th54 lathe? Such as, where I can get replacement parts or any other useful information?

The TH54 is a 10" and is late 50's - 60's era. I doubt Clausing has many if any parts for them anymore. You can email them and see. Other than that fleabay or advertising on forums is your only hope! A few parts interchange with the newer 12" model like half nuts. Not sure what else?

Jagd, I had the same atlas as you and gave it to my son in law after I got a heavy 10 southbend. I used it for a bunch of years, (my first lathe) and was able to get good work out of it within it's limitations. Parts are available on ebay and from private parties but are not plentiful, as you probably have found out. Thanks Jim, I think all I need is the cross feed drive gears and selector switch.

eBay is usually your best bet. Parts for these are usually reasonable compared to South bend and other older US made lathes. Just picked up a set of spindle gears for a qc42, I picked up to flip, think I paid $60 shipped for the spindle and bull gears, which would be closer to $150 for a SB.
