Kelbly Atlas and the PPC

Does anyone have any experience with the Kelbly Atlas feeding and extracting a PPC case, I know they cycle the BR cases but I can’t remember anyone talking about this action and the PPC

Don't know about ppc size cases. Mine is in a 6BRA. I had to install the heavy duty bolt stop, which moves the bolt toward about .080. The mechanical ejector, if not run hard, can leave a case in the chamber.
They offer a bolt with a Remington style ejector which would solve that issue. Never had an issue with longer cases like 6.5x47.
As far as feeding, 100%. Big fan of Kelbly's.

On a short case, BR, if you don't work the bolt with authority, it won't flip out. I have one and speak from experience. Still love it, but I believe the remington style is better suited for short cases.

The extractor clips over the rim to pull it from the chamber, The ejector is a spring loaded plunger that kicks the case out after it clears the port.

So the extractor pulls it from the chamber and force dependent your TG ejector may leave it in the action. Chamber and action being slightly different. I love my Pandas too! Wouldn't own anything but a mechanical ejector. TG ejector have no springs. If not mistaken Ian told me to reliably eject PPC brass required a PPC BOLT instead of the BR Bolt.

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Kelbly's fan. 1 Atlas, and 3 Black Bears. Incredibly smooth actions!
