And that is the crux of it all. The ATF will be sued, held in contempt and we the people will actually pay the fee and fines. ATF agent who gave the go ahead needs to be fired, perp walked the whole nine yards. And yes NSA, you can pass this on to them if you want to.

The way we hold them accountable, but which their government overlords will never approve -- because it would need to apply to them too -- is to fire them, revoke their pensions (why they went to work for Uncle Sam in the first place, along with wanting to bully the citizenry), and then jail them along with other common criminals. And don't let their family collect any benefits, such as health insurance, Social Security, etc.

In other words, hold them to a higher standard, and make transgressions so painful that only people of the highest integrity would apply. Which, based on what I've observed among our "public servants", would DQ at least 90% of those presently employed.
