Doing a little scope shopping, and see where some complain about the entire eyepiece rotating when you adjust the magnification, possibly causing problems with a flip up lens cap. Am I understanding this correctly? Is this also true on the (newer?) “Enhanced” models? Also, how does one know if you’re getting an enhanced model? Is it the PTL and Digillum on the box end? Thanks

Yes, it rotates. I take the flip-ups off mine and buy rubber bikinis, so it does not bother me.

Yes, the Enhanced has the PTL, also has a bronze seal on the side of the parallax knob. If in doubt check the model #. The Enhanced #'s are different.

I leave my flip covers on and in line with the PTL. When changing the magnification, I grab the cover and eyepiece at the same time, which makes everything work fine.
