ASC VFS May 2018 Match Results

We had a GREAT turnout. The largest yet. 21 shooters. The weather and conditions were great but the wind was swirling a little inside those concrete barriers. The left side of the range was seeing orange, and the right side was seeing green.... The guys in the middle were just having to pick their spots. I ended up on top with a 250-19X. It certainly could have been one of those days where someone could have reach 22 or 23 X's. Other than hot, it was a nice day.

Yearly totals are kept at http://www.p1zk.com/vfs-matches.html . We will take the best 6 scores for the SOTY at Arlington Sportsman Club. Try to come out and shoot with us next month. June's match is on June 24 (That is a Sunday this month since the range will be closed Saturday the 23rd). Be prepared to have fun, and to share a bench.

The down fall to that is we could use 4-5 more benches to shoot from.

That flag you see is our drive force. We all strive to get to that point. And FYI.... that pole (well.... a short pole is called a Stick) was leading after 3 matches.... then the heat caught up to him.

We had a great time. I took my daughter to her first 100 yd match and she did just as well as i could have . We are proud to get to hang out with the good guys.

That is a nice looking range. You would have to try hard to send a bullet over the berm

You can't. It's designed that way. We came in a few years ago and placed more baffles 3-4 deep. Even laying prone on the concrete, you see no skyline through them.
