Advil, .. I had to have my wrist fused. Still hurts once in a while. 4 -5 Advil usually do the trick.. Go see an ortho doc.Anyone have this going on ,my wrist is killing me. What is good for arthritis ?
It's really hard to find a good arthritis doctor. My wife has suffered from arthritis in most of her joints for years; hands, wrists, shoulders ankles and more. We went through 5 or 6 "specialists" that were basically useless before finally finding one who could really help. He gave her aggressive treatment that works very well, using a drug called "Enbrel". Sadly, though it's very effective it's also really expensive so I hope you have good insurance. If you have a family doctor you really trust, I'd suggest you ask him for a referral to a good specialist. If you end up with one who doesn't seem to be helping much, don't stay with him too long. Shop around and ask people you know who have had similar problems and got effective help for their recommendations. In our experience good arthritis docs are scarcer than good chiropractors. I have no doubt that if we'd stuck with her first one (or any of the first several, for that matter) she'd be bedridden now. Good luck!Thats my next step
It helps with my feet, knees, neck/shoulder and lower back.I have arthritis in my knees and Voltarin has helped me a lot.
Those shots do make you feel better, but I would take a look at their long term affects on joints.I have a knee and shoulder problem. Getting old is a Bi*ch.
When to Dr. after trying to tough it out. He gave me a cortisone shot. It's a magic drug.
My wife also uses the CBD stuff, but she gets the stuff with THC in it. It's kind of like imperial sizing wax in texture. Works much better. A little spendy, but worth the relief. Yea, Yea, I know it's not legal everywhere but she get relief so I really don't care.CBD oil has been a miracle worker for me. Bad shoulder and arthritis in several fingers. I take 600mg of ibuprofen at bed time. More to manage inflammation/catch in my hip than anything else.
Anyone wanting info on what I use PM me for details.
