Arthritic Thumbs and Garand Loading

DocBII

Gold $$ Contributor
Good day,

Arthritis in my thumbs and wrists is making it difficult to load an M1 Garand enbloc in the rifle. Any suggestions for a tool to load/push down on the enbloc with my palm?

Thanks in advance,
DocBII

Don't know if this will help you but its been great for me. I have the same problem. Dr perscriped a soft rubber support for my thumbs, straps with velcro go around your wrist. The last 2 years my wife has done most of the operations for me loading, I could not. With these I can do it all, no pain. Look up Push braces. I have very little cartilage left in my hands and zero in either thumb. I wear them pretty much most of my waking hours.
