Oh yeah , totally slipped my mind . The Ak-74 is nothin like the AR . It doesn't jam , have bolt lock-ups , and bent barrels from heat warpage . Yep . Nothin like the AR .

plus...they also have a built in muzzle brake to work against muzzle climb...

I have a friend that was in the Nicaraguan army, he said that he was issued an AK47 and time passed he was issued an AR15. I asked which he liked best. He said after carrying a rifle up and down every mountain in the country and getting shot at every day, being able to actually hit some thing was the best gift ive ever received. He loved the AR. I asked if he had trouble keeping the AR running? Never was his reply. One of the few Ive ever talked to that was issued both.

Sorry . You can have all the testimonials ( second hand , of course ) and you'll never , ever convince me to be one more AR "Fan-boy" ! Carried one of those pieces of junk for five months in the Nam , till I got my hands on a good working SKS . End of story . Just my own opinion of the most re-designed , EC'd weapon every created , that worked just fine till the politicians and bean-counters got their hands on it . If it's the "God-gun" of the world , why are the marines going back to revised M-14's . Because .308's kill ! That's why .
