ARMS Throw Lever rings

I am looking to mount a Nightforce 12-40x56 NXS onto a sporting Howa Lightning 1500 in 308.

It is fitted with a one piece weaver rail with a cut out to allow for ammo to be loaded and spent casings to be ejected.

I am looking at ARMS throw lever rings but have not been able to get feedback from ARMS as to what they would recommend re rings to meet this configuration.

I am assuming that medium height will suffice due to the height of the rail, which is stepped height by the way)with one mounting foot being deeper than the other.

If anyone has experience of the ARMS scope rings above, I would be pleased to hear from you re recommendations re correct product selection.

the rings are as per the link below, this is the high mount version)

Thanks in advance.

I have 2 sets of ARMs, had both on a Barnard action yesterday. The medium height had the NXS about 3/8 ' above a medium Palma barrel. The low was much closer but still had clearance. I have also used the Warne detachable mounts and they work well. Sometimes the ARMs don't want to snug up as tight as I would like, but that could be a base issue.Just my .02 worth.

Thanks Signut.

What rail are they going on - I am trying to establish if they are dedicated to a weaver or piccy rail or will work on both?

Thanks

Unless ARMS have changed in the last year their design is non adjustable which means it's pot luck if they lock up tight cause of the tolerances of the picatinny rail. And their MiM throw levers are not know to be the most durable. LaRue has a 30mm set of rings and the LaRue design is fully adjustable, repeatable, and durable.
