Armalite AR10T

I recently received an Armalite AR10T with the original 20" Stainless Steel 20" barrel in 1:10 twist. Has anyone tried the Bergers 185 Juggs?

the ORIGINAL armalite ar10t is a 24" 11.75, and later to a 10.
the 20" was for sales not accuracy.
while i shoot 175's i have not tried any 185's yet
to hit the lands coal is 2.9 xx..so no mag feeding on or near the lands.
i believe aramlite still has a note that the rifles have 7.62 (long throat) chambers in spite of the T
(target) designation.

The best BERGER BULLET to try at magazine length in the 185 grain range would be the 185gr CLASSIC HUNTER bullet. The 185 JUG has an over length nose dimension that MAY interfere with magazine fit and chambering of the round if you use it at magazine length. This bullet would best be used in a "single shot" mode using a BOB SLED or some other type of single shot follower device. Other bullets that would work at mag length would be the 168gr Classic Hunter and 155.5 full bore or the 150gr FB TARGET.

I have two AR10s. The AR10T 16 Carbine, 1 in 10 twist, and a standard AR10 rifle, with a 1 in 11.25 twist. Both “B” models. I have not tried the Bergers, but am interested in your results and responses. My best load for the AR10T has been a 175 gr. Sierra SMK BTHP with Lake City cases, 41 gr of RL 15, and Winchester primers. That will shoot sub MOA all day long at 100 and 200 yards.
The rifle likes Sierra 168 gr SMKs with 42 gr RL15. And again Lake City cases and Winchester primers.
