Arlington Sportsman Club 2015 VFS schedule

This is a reminder that the monthly club 100 yard VFS matches start back up this month.
We shoot the 4th Sat of the month until October.
You do not need to be a member to shoot in these matches.
Cost is $5 for members, $10 for non members.
Gates open to public at 8:00 am, and we try to start shooting as close to 9:00 am as possible.
Format is VFS on IBS 100 yard targets.

This is a club shoot, and nearly all center fire rifles are legal to shoot. Nothing bigger than a 416 can be used (club rules). No rail guns allowed. But practically everything else is. We even have had some rimfire guys join us and they did surprisingly good

We follow pretty close to the IBS match format except on target crew. We pull our own targets. This year I will have a little better organization on targets as benches 1&2 will place initial targets. 3&4 will pull after first match and place 2nd match. Benches 5&6 will pull match 2 and place match 3... etc....

The shoot is a relaxed atmosphere but with good competition. I believe we have had 2 scores of 21 X's before. 18-20 X count will normally win. We will be keeping a running total of monthly matches this year, and will be awarding a year end prize. I am donating 50 pcs of custom brass to the best score.
