Arken EP-5 Problem

It has happened before but today it happened again, and again. The elevation turret cap keeps coming loose. The three set screws that hold the cap in place keep coming loose and the cap just spins around the turret. I think the cheap Chinese set screws are the issue. Anyone else have this happen with their Arkens? Did you replace them and if so what was your source? Thread pitch, presumably metric?
TIA
Joe

Yes, it is a well known issue with Arken scopes. A drop of low strength Vibratite or Loctite solves the problem. Easy peasy.

Loctite. Purple is one weaker than blue, for small screws. After application, still holding up on a 375 RUM.

The new set screws from Arken have an o-ring on them. I didn't bother with that, the Loctite is working.

Even after re-adjustment of the set screws to reset zero, they didn't loosen under recoil again.

Man, I don't know about Loctite for that application.
