Arkansas 600 yard F-Class this weekend

There will be a 600 yard prone rifle match this weekend,11/22-23) at Camp Robinson, North Little Rock, Arkansas. Both F-Class and Iron sites will be shot. COF will be 3 strings of 20 rounds each day.

The base Commander limits cartridges to having a capacity equal to or less than 30-06.

Missed you today...I have to brag!! The little Dasher turn me in a 597/38X today, with a 200/13X on the third string!!

Sorry to have missed such a stellar performance. I have a new-to-me 6mmBR built on a BR stock and was really looking forward to beating the socks off everyone with it.

We were loaded and at the Burns Park exit at 6:30 am when I called David to be sure of the Range number. He said he was home in bed and had no idea whether there was going to be a match or not and if so it was going to be at 9 am. It had been my understanding that the Club that runs the Match was in Heber Springs on Saturday and were not having the Match.

So......... we went back home and then drove to Memphis Sunday and shot 600.

Wish we had persisted and shot with you.

1st string - 199/15x - a 9 on the 17th round came out of no where!!

2nd string - 198/10x

3rd string - 200/13x - on a fresh, new target..has 22 holes, 15x's- first two sighters were x's - wish they where convertible!!


Yep- the new 1/2 MOA target...20-shot group measured 4.238" inchs..last 5 shoots drift a little right in the 10 ring, as I ahd the record beat.. This Dasher is going to be hell to beat this coming year...
