Request comments on the subject scope. Good or bad.

I have the Helos on a 700. Good value, but leaves a lot to desire. My guess is they’ll keep improving like Vortex did.

Good scope for $350. I've used one on my trainer for a year, constantly dialing for 300 to 1000yd with consistency. Reticle holdovers accurate too. Glass is acceptable, not great. I'd buy another without hesitation.

I needed a scope and my optics budget was depleted by the two new Vortex scopes.
Ordered an Argos with Cabela's points.
It surprised me; pleasantly.
It had lots of features from higher end optics, did not shift POI with turret movement and tracked as well (went up and down the full 1 mil when tested several times) when dialing up down as many higher end scopes. The reticle on "cheap" scopes is usually way too thick and very much in the way. not on the Argos. I still don't know how long the Argos will track as it should and the glass is not top shelf but it is OK. I thought I would use it on one of my CZ455 rifles but it wound up on the 223AI.
