Area 419 zero reloading press questions

I switched from a 550c that I had 25+ toolheads for. I had 2 for each caliber, a brass processing toolhead and a loading toolhead. Used it for years, served me well, had all the tweaks and upgrades. I got tired of having to grab wrenches to change toolheads and shellplates and locator pins every time I wanted to pop between calibers. Maybe processed brass for one caliber while a different caliber was tumbled, then wanted to pop back and load that other caliber,, etc. While it doesnt take hours, there is no jumping back and forth between cartridges quickly and annoying if you just need to say load a few test rounds then jump back to what you were doing.

The Zero is so nice to be able to have 9 dies loaded up on one turret, and be able to turn a bolt 1/2 a turn and change calibers or dies instantly. I have the 9 dies per turret pretty much grouped by case head diameter with 4 different turrets...

I dont think from a numbers standpoint the Zero is better than say a Nexus as mentioned above when sizing or seating but its also not worse.... From a pure convenience and speed standpoint throughout the process, its way faster with that same accuracy and consistency. If thats something your looking for, the Zero is well worth it.

I have one of the original Zero Presses. I just love it! I have 3 extra turrets. I do not seat on the press. This thing is so smooth, the de priming is the best I have ever seen and I have ordered quite a few presses over the years. Is it nessary to make great ammo? No but is the last sigle stage you will ever want. Its is different than normal turret presses. After turning the turret there is a big bolt that the user tightens and it makes it as solid as any single state press. I also have some of their M-Dies and yes they are EXPENSIVE but they are a pleasure to use and that I am aware they are the only sizing dies that can be adjusted with from the top.

Area 419 has many videos out there. I am blessed to be able to afford some of the nicer toys, 67 an still work. Over they years I used a lot of Lee stuff and Lee is great for what it cost and without it I would not be reloading. If you can afford a 419 Zero press and you do a lot of precision rifle rounds you would not be disappointed.
