Are There Any Special Issues WHen Annealing Nickel Plated Brass?

I have a pile of nickel plated .280 brass that has been fired several times. I think annealing it would be appropriate; however, I have never annealed nickel plated brass. Anyone have any experience or advice?

Thanks in advance.

Dan

I have 0 expierience annealing nickel brass. Use salt as desired.

In my opinion I would'nt bother.
Nickle Rifle brass is not greatly recommended for reloading anyway. Yes it can be but.....
When the nickle begins to peel it'll get stuck in the dies causing nasty problems.
Willing to bet annealing would speed that process up greatly.

I have annealed nickle 7 mag brass.

It changes color the same as regular brass.
