Are Ebay QD sling swivels & bases any good, or will they pull apart?

I was wondering if this kind of picatinny mount with quick detachable base for $7.50 shipped on Ebay is any good. (?) I already have it on an AR15. Yea, I own DD, Colt, Troy, LMT, LaRue and other top name hardware when it counts, but didn't know if simple stuff like this works well enough. (?) I already have this mount and 2 swivels on my 9lb AR15 and have pulled on the 2 swivels and base as a test. It seems a bit wiggly but doesn't pull loose. (but I'm not sure how much slack I'm supposed to feel) Is that a good enough test? Anybody have first hand experience with QD swivels failing. Yea, I'm suspicious about $7 stuff too but just as soon not pay $50-$75 for the 2 pieces if it's not necessary.

If you already have them on something and been jerking on them you know the answer to your question
already.

Not necessarily. I don't hardly fire my AR rifles much and use the sling enough to know if it's just a matter of time before my rifle crashes to the ground. Like I said, the fit is "wiggly" both in the mount and also with the sling swivel snapped into my LMT sopmod collapsible stock . I don't know if this is normal or not, since I don't have high dollar swivels to compare it to.

Buy once, cry once is my mantra on this stuff. Not sure how much your rifle cost but let's say it's $1,000. Why spend $8 to secure something that cost a grand? AR's a pretty tough and will probably be ok with a tumble but why risk it?

Never mind guys. I googled "Quick Detachable Sling Swivel reliability, problems?" and didn't like the feedback about machining tolerances being all over the place and rifles crashing loose to the ground. It seems even quality stuff can vary a lot! The ID of the block and the fine groove in there may not spec properly with the tiny ball bearings in the swivel, and I don't like the feel of all that shaking and pulling. I'll stick with simple Fudd style Detachable Sling Swivels made by USA GrovTec which will NOT pull loose in that solid alum block pictured below. You can bet I'll still test pull the sling hard on that block, but notice how it is substancialy beefier then the QD mount in my opening post. Thanks for the input.

I think the problem is ball bearing raceways made of aluminum instead of stainless steel. I have had several fail, but I put on a lot pressure on the swivels as I use a sling for shooting prone in NRA competition.

eBay doesn't make sling swivels or anything else for that matter... Only but quality name brand items!
