AR15 Upper WITHOUT M4 Ramps

Does anybody know where to find a standard flat top upper WITHOUT the M4 feed ramps? I am struggling here. Would anybody custom make one without the ramps?

I'm not arguing the validity or commonality of the M4 ramps, they are better and I totally understand that becoming standard.

I'm trying to swap my A2 CMP upper over to an A4 for scope. My 1:7 Krieger only has about 1200 rounds and has a rifle extension and I don't really want to swap it out.

I am finding there might not be a choice in the matter...

Grind the slots into the barrel extension with a dremel or die grinder
It doesn’t have to be precise just so the bullets don’t snag and the cuts are smooth
Common fix for this when scopes came around

Aero Precision makes a flat top upper without the m4 feed ramps. I think optics planet had them on sale for $79.
