The other good thing about the JP 308 bolts is that many times they will cure reliability issues with large frame AR's. It seems JP has really figured out the correct extractor/ejector geometry and spring tension to get them to run well. One of my 308 AR's has a Criterion barrel and JP bolt and it runs FLAWLESSLY, not something than can be said for many other large AR home builds.

I assume you are handloading for it but probably starting with Hornady factory match ammo?

Great shooting . My friend has the 6.5 Creedmoor in a mega billet Maten upper/lower , JP high pressure bolt group with kreiger barrel . He loves it ,but it's hard not to burn a barrel up it's so fun shooting. I have to remind him to feel his barrel for heat.

Finally took her out to 1,000 yards. Wind calls were tough today, however I did manage a couple of hits on the 12"x12" AR500 steel plate!
