AR triggers....CMC vs TriggerTech

I'm wanting to get a good trigger for my Coyote rifle. My PSA EPT 2 stage ain't cutting it. I like a 2 stage and would like to stay with one. The ones that have my attention are CMC and a TriggerTech Diamond. I can get a CMC for $125 less than the TriggerTech. If it's worth the extra to get the TriggerTech, I don't mind doing it. I just don't want to spend it if it's not necessary. I haven't used either one and would only like to buy just one. Anyone have any experience with either of these AR15 triggers?

I've used a TT diamond a lot and a CMC trigger a little.
The first stage in a TT diamond is 4 oz - really not a stage at all. I.e., I don't notice it. The second stage is great.

The CMC triggers are all single stage.

A Geissele High Speed National Match is a true two stage trigger with each stage independently adustable for weight. Total pull weight goes from a bit over two pounds to [as I remember] around 4 lbs. They are not in a cartridge - you need to install the trigger and the hammer separately. This takes a bit of learning. After doing it 5-10 times it becomes much easier as you figure it out.

I've seen some good comments about Elftmann triggers.

I have a TT duty 2stage.
It’s definitely not a Diamond but it’s got a great feel and l like it as much as my SSA-E and larue.

I have a tt diamond single stage and a CMC single stage. I think they are both fantastic. I think the differentiating factor would be how low of a pull weight do you want? The pull weight on my TT will go lower than the CMC, but the CMC is very crisp and breaks beautifully just like the TT. If it were a coyote rig I'd get the CMC and save your money. I've got probably a few 1,000 pulls with each trigger and have never had a problem with either.

I only have single stage triggers in both CMC and TT Diamond, so can't speak to the 2-stage. I will say that the pull weights on my 3 '2.5#' CMC triggers seem to be a bit exaggerated, as mine are more in the 3.5# range. Not sure if that would transfer to their 2-stage offerings or not, just throwing it out. To me, there's really no comparing the 2, as the TT is a much nicer trigger. I'd try to get some time on both before you buy, just to see what you like. I hope that's an option for you.
