Ar trigger question

I installed a palmetto drop in trigger in one of my ars today. I am not terribly familiar with ars, and have not had a dropin assembly style trigger like this so I am not sure if what I am seeing is normal or not. You can not cock the hammer with the safety on. Near as I can tell without going to the range to test it the trigger appears to be working properly.

The safety cannot be put on 'safe' unless the bolt is cocked. Trying to do otherwise will break the safety switch.

You can still test the trigger - just keep the hammer from hitting the inside front of the lower. Or, with an upper assembled onto the lower - unloaded, of course.
