When you get into mixing and matching parts on an AR9 there are potential compatibility issues (bolts, lowers, uppers, barrels, and especially triggers). The AR9 platform is not standardized like the AR15. Make sure whatever combination you choose has a proven track record of working together. If your trigger has been upgraded to anything other than a mil spec trigger failure to reset/hammer following may be an issue. Certain triggers do not hold up well in the AR9 platform and some manufacturers may not warranty the trigger if used in an AR9 configuration. Hiperfire is what I am running as it has a solid reputation in the AR9 platform and Hiperfire will warranty for AR9 use. I have a couple complete spare trigger groups just in case I ever need to use the warranty.
