AR 15 tutorial?

What would be the best DVD's to buy to show how to build AR uppers to include installing Barrels or if there is something else available? Thank You, Ron

Yep, no real need to buy anything. YouTube is your friend here. After you've done your first one they are all easy.

There are some good DVD's out there on the subject. And, there is a LOT of great videos on youtube. The biggest thing I've noticed about youtube, is watch a few videos, & pay attention to how the person actually works on the weapon, & what kind of tools does he uses!! Nothing makes me cringe like watching some dude beating on everything with an old carpenters claw hammer & a poorly fitting punch !!!!! Ha Ha!

AGI has a good one, good info on triggers too. YouTube will have plenty as well.

Go to the AR15 section under discussion forums and read going back in time until your eyes bleed. Lots of junk on there from guys that don't know what they're doing but by the same token lots of good stuff from guys that have been around the block. Vendors, new & used parts for sale, and lots of u tube.Much better than most vids you can buy.

I recommend Glen Zediker's Competitive AR15 Builders Guide. Great book and great reading. It is a good resource.

+1 for Glen Zediker's book. I prefer to have hard copy to refer to instead of trying to find a particular bit of information on a video.

Thank You all, I have already started watching the things on this site and it is interesting as I have built or put together several lowers and I have on with a AR Gold trigger American triggers But I only have one upper that is a stainless heavy 26" 1 in 8 twist but I have just started Shooting it. Ron

I also like to refer to print as apposed to video but I like the videos also to learn from but I am going to look into the Glen Zedikers book, Thank you, Ron

What is funny is how easy they are to put together. They can be done with a old hammer and a punch. They are not like going a HK or AK.
