April Palo Alto Mid-Range Match- RESULTS

FTR and FPR Competitor- When I Can
APRIL MID-RANGE F-CLASS/PRONE MATCH
April 4, 2015
Palo Alto Rifle and Pistol Club, Inc.

And the winds did blow…….
30 shooters came out and found out 2 things right away- the winds were almost full force from the very beginning and 60 degrees with overcast and winds feels a whole lot colder than 60 degrees with calm winds and sunshine.

The Prone side had 5 shooters and Gary Henry took the Gold with a 594-25X. John Laws was 1st in Master/Expert class with a 573-16X.

F-Open had 9 shooters. Having the Easter Holiday off from college, Taylor Boudreaux was able to shoot for the first time in several months. The hiatus didn’t hurt much as she took the Gold medal with a 593-28X. In today’s winds that was a very good score!. Bob Lundholm took 1st High Master with a 588-20X. First time visitor Bill Wade took 1st Master Unclassified.

The FTR folks had the most shooters with 16. Everyone was watching the High Master and Masters all match to see who would win it. But, coming out of the Expert class, Rocky Bezet knocked it out of the park posting a 585-15X to take the Gold Medal! Congrats Rocky! David Aldridge was 1st High Master with a 582-19X. Manuel Cepeda was 1st in the Master/Master Unclassified/Expert class with a 580-18X and Glen Padgett took 2nd with a 580-14X. Jeffrey Peno took 1st in the Marksman/Sharpshooter class.

As always, we want to thank those folks who drive several hours each month to come shoot with us.

We’ll see you on the line.

It sounds like a exceptional day at the range. I really enjoy seeing the face of a first time winner. They bring back all the memories that make shooting great!! Good deal guys.

Awesome, Taylor whooped up on the F-Open boys! They better get used to it as I'm sure she will make it a habit! ;D

I think it was Rocky's Do-It-Yourself stock comb upgrade that did it for him. :)

Now everyone will be wrapping their stock with black duct tape. ;D
