Applied Ballistics Mobile App

Please will someone help me!

I have the above-mentioned app. When I first got the program I set up a profile for my rifle and for my ammo. Now I want edit my profile and save the change, but I don't have "update" or "cancel" buttons on my screen.

What am I doing wrong?

Many thanks in advance.

You can edit everything. For both the gun and ammunition list, what you need to do is to put your finger on the items you want to change and drag to the left. For the gun this will unmask "Edit". Fore ammo, you will get "More" and then an option to "Edit".

Once you've made the changes to your profile, tap the pencil icon at the top right corner. This saves your changes.

Hi Bryan

Many thanks.

I am left handed and my right hand holding the phone obscured the pencil!!!! :-[

What confused me was that according to your web-site there are 2 buttons "Update" and "Cancel". Is my version (1.1.4) an version, and can I upgrade FOC?

Many thanks

I am gradually getting to grips with this superb program, but I don't I don't understand that why within the "Saved Targets" a) I don't get the wind angle GUI as in the "environment" and b) the wind angle is not saved i.e. the wind angle within environment takes precedence. when I load the saved target.

Many thanks in advance.

Edit: I notice that "Load Target" does not appear in the screenshots of the mobile app on the website

This is by design. The wind should be updated at the time you are shooting.

I can add a saved target section to this manual. I will take note of that for the next update: http://www.abmediaresources.com/ABApp.htm

Many sincere thanks for your reply!

This program is truly superb.

My son bought it for me some time ago when I acquired my first .308. Having now learnt to reload, I am now trying to get to grips with AB

My understanding of "saved targets" is probably not what you guys designed it for :-[, so please will you give me a quick synopsis of the application of the feature.

What I don't understand (probably because I am missing the point) is that why within "Saved Targets" I have the options to alter wind speed and direction, yet when I load these variables within "Environment" they are superseded?

Thanks again

I think my mind is playing tricks!

I was under the impression from having played with AB Mobile some time ago that it was to enter load data i.e. case make, primer, COAL etc. etc. (other than by using the notes)

Please can someone put me straight.

Many thanks in advance.

I used the 'Saved Targets' feature to capture the details of a number of formal and informal ranges that I shoot on. The principle details I am capturing are the Distance (to the target), Coriolis Latitude and Coriolis Azimuth.
