Applied Ballistics Mobile App

I'm curious about updates coming for the iPhone app. I've been using it since it came out, there are lots of great things about it but needs to be updated for the new iPhone 6 and 6+, it doesn't even work anymore on the 6+. Since there hasn't been an update in about 6 months I'm curios what the development timeline is, coming features, etc.? Are you going to continue to support it? The new iPhones have built in barometric pressure sensors, will you be adding the ability to get pressure directly from them? Thanks and keep up the good work.

We are working on it. I have no tentative date, but every time a bug is reported I re-create it and forward it to the development team. All I can say for now, is that it is being actively worked on!

I understand it can be a bit frustrating. But we have a choice, we can release something early and not have the fixes done correctly, or we can take our time, and try to get these fixes done right. We have chosen to go the route of creating an update with the most stable fixes we can.

Greetings Bryan! I have the AB Mobile on my I pad. It's fantastic! How do I get the updates for the program? Thanks much, Dwight.

I just downloaded the AP app on my iPhone 5. While setting up my first rifle I selected my scope viper pst 2nd focal plane. When I go to my load and look at the reticle it is nothing like a pst reticle.

This is what the program is showing for the reticle. And you can also see that the aim point it is show is incorrect. It calls for 1.7mil up but it is showing about 5.1 up on the reticle.

Here is what the reticle should look like.

Has this problem been noted. Is there an update coming soon to fix this.

After doing more research on this. Looks like the only 2 pst reticles available in the app are the 2.5-10moa and the 6-24moa. Will there be more reticles coming for this app.

I can always take reticles as a suggestion through email, which I then forward to the correct people. They make the final decision on what we can and can't do.

Applied Ballistics iOS version just posted by Apple, and in the next 24 hours will hit the different regions. If your phone is not set up to automatically update try doing it manually. If you run in to a bug please send it to me via email, what I need to know is:

Device
iOS Version
Region of the world you are in.
Settings
Basic weapon and ammo profile
Step by step how you got the problem to occur.

The more information you send the easier it is to track down the problem. I know this can be a bit much, but every little bit helps.

Yep I have the IPhone 6+ and neither AB nor Shooter work properly any longer :'(

I would try the Ketrel but from what I understand I could not see it without reading glasses which I do not wear while shooting nor hunting so back to drawing board until they get the updates out.
