Anyone with Knowledge if Cooper Firearmsa ever made a pistol

I am trying to help a friend sell a Cooper model 38 bolt action pistol in 17 CCM. I have never been able to find anything about Cooper firearms ever making a pistol. The person I am selling for said he verified it with Dan Cooper 20 plus years ago, but people words don't mean as much as a piece of paper saying that it was made by them not a hobby shop project. Cooper Firearms said they don't have a lot of the older records of the custom builds. I am sending the pictures and serial number hoping they can find something, but in the mean time if anyone can point me in direction of search I would appreciate it.

I don’t believe they did.

I believe they did years back. If they didn't, they at least offered the actions sold as a pistol action. I have seen one at an IHMSA match.
