Anyone using RL 26 for competition rounds

I was experimenting with 26 in a .260 Ackley and found crazy pressure spikes after 3-4 rounds. Once the barrel started to warm up I was getting pressure spikes bad enough to pop primers. Even after backing it down a couple grains the same thing would happen. Those first few shots would shoot excellent though.
