I live in new york state, how unfortunate !
I recently bought(last season) 4 boxes of this ammo for a unplanned hunt in rifle country.I hunt with an encore pistol in 7-08 and needed something quick and that was what they had.I sighted in with a box and a half for fun. I recently started to get ready to reload this brass. With the naked eye it looked like the brass had splits in the necks.(I realize this is garbage ammo) I trimmed one and it looked worse so I got my magnavisor on and discovered that it was more than splits. At first look ,the necks looked way to dark as all the prvi stuff is annealed from the factory.I can honestly tell you from a guy with a benchsource annealing system, something is wrong.I inspected the rest of the emptys and found that the brass is overannealed and dangerous in my mind.I am throwing it all away as it isnt worth writing the company to dispute it.The necks are dull and really crystallized. It is a shame as alot of places push this stuff to make a quick sale for more profit. I would advise anyone using this brass and even other calibers should beware as it is from serbia and I doubt they have stringent quality control. I now know when the benchsource is running I am doing a superior job compared to the eastern bloc countrys who dont care if your gun sustains damage. They are not going to reimburse anyone for any reason. If anyone cares to comment let me know. The box says 7mm-08/PSP BT 140grain/2 cards reading 102/0902 in the box/400E30-1400416 on the inside of the flap and that is all.Inside the other flap reads:400001. Some boxes look alittle better than others but highly recommend complaining to your distributors about the apparent lack of quality. IMHO!
