Anyone using Hodgdon BL-C2 with 6BR?

I have always used Vaget but there is a local supply problem. I am looking at an alternative powder. Has anyone tried BL-C2 with 6BR?

What sort of load have you sed?

BLC-2 is a good choice if you load with a progressive press as it meters like sand. It can also give you very good load density. Most match shooters believe the extruded powders have a bit of an accuracy edge and may be less temp sensitive. But there's no reason BLC-2 can't work fine for you.

Just as with Varget, start at 29.0 and work up, when using the 105-107 grain bullets. Let us know how your velocity and accuracy shakes out.

Another good powder for the long bullets is Alliant's Reloader 15 and the very similar Norma 203B.

Excellent! Thanks!

I only use a progressive for handgun and meticulously measure and trickle every 6BR round by hand...

Thanks!

,As you sawee, I have a sticky key issue... bad for a 2-finger typist)
