Anyone using Benchmark for Palma loads?

I know a few of the US National Rifle Team folks use benchmark. Maybe one will come along here and offer advice. I know they are shooting it very well and they wouldn’t if it didn’t work. But then again lots of powders work in a Palma rifle.

I’ve been told small rifle primer brass is important if using Benchmark. I haven’t tried larger primer brass so I can’t say if that’s true, but it works very well.

In trying to help a friend develop a Benchmark load for Palma , we learned it has a very narrow window . It went from a good grouping to shotgun pattern in just a couple tenths . It be one of those "if your gun likes it" , things . But never got the results he was after .

I bought a pound of it to try out when time allows... must say that the grains are cut pretty short compared to other stick powders. Imagine it will be a bit easier to trickle up charges on account of that...
