anyone using 6mm creedmoor for f-class? vs. 6x47L vs 6 dasher

just curious if anyone is using the 6mm creedmoor for fclass and what results they are getting. im still gathering data on my next build.

i want to be able to use my next cartridge in both f class mid range and tactical matches. im looking to get about 3050-3100fps in a 26" barrel. The 6mm creed and the 6x47L are on the top so far with the 6 dasher in the mix. Not sure if anyone is using a 6 dasher in tactical matches.

The 6mm creedmoor is nice since I already shoot a 6.5 creedmoor, but im concerned about brass life.
The 6x47L is another round I like, but for whatever reason, mixed results are popping up on this forum
The 6 dasher...nothing more to be said other than in a tac match, it would suck hardcore to lose brass you painstakingly prepped and fireformed

thoughts?

The Dasher would not feed as good as the other two.

I think the 6x47 is doing most of the winning in tactical matches. There was an article about what the tactical guys are shooting that showed that. Look it up, it's an interesting read.

Most are using the 6 Creedmoor this past season.

I have 3 improved 6br's and went with a 6slr for my tactical rig because no one can convince me the improved 6br's will feed reliably.

I know a guy who has shot the 6x47L in mid range and puts up some impressive scores (and X counts).

I shoot F-TR but I would think that just looking at the ballistics at long range you'd be spotting a few points to the 180gr 7mm's used by the RSAUM/280Rem/WSM guys.

You won't loose anything against the 7mm at midrange. I shoot a 6x47l at midrange and love it!feeds from ai mags well.

Bsumoba,
I shot a 6 Creedmoor in 2 matches this summer/fall. First understand this was my first season shooting F-Class. I had several matches under my belt before I built the 6 so at least it wasn't the first match !
My scores in MR were upper Master level (584 with 20 plus x). I shot the Montana LR championship match with the same rifle....won first relay of the individual 1000 match with a 197.
I'm running 105 Hybrids at 3125 and a 26" barrel. My rifle is more a tactical platform than F-Class but it still did well....as in many shooting sports the rifle was not the limiting factor- I was. If I were going to rebuild this rifle to a dedicated F-Class rifle it would have a 30" 1.25" straight barrel and a better suited stock. The 6 Creedmoor is almost identical to the 6XC which gets rave reviews. I have been very happy with the Hornady brass which you can get from GAP. I use the Whidden dies. I have some cases with 6 reloads and primer pockets are still tight. Accuracy is amazing.
