6mm Creedmoor vs 6mm International

Hello folks
Long time reader never posted until now. hope you guys can help with a question. It seems to me that there's very little difference between the two, the classic 6mm International using 22-250 brass vs the 6mm Creedmoor except the price of Hornady brass. case volume seems to be identical. and die prices are close. is there any advantage to the Creedmoor case design vs the International ?
Thanks for any thoughts

I think if you check, the first thing is case capacity with the International having a smaller 44-grain capacity as opposed the 53-grain capacity of the Creedmoor case. The International was designed by pushing the shoulder back in order to create a longer neck thus diminishing the case capacity but supporting the bullet better and preventing some of the plasma impingement in the throat.

Here's another description:

"Notes: Cartridges of 6mm based on the 250 Savage case are all similar, but vary slightly in length and shoulder angle. Original design was the 250 case necked-down with no other change. Donaldson's version used a 1/4-inch shortened case with the shoulder pushed back; on that version, shoulder angle is 30 degrees. The Walker 6mm retains the standard length, but pushes the shoulder back, creating a long neck. Body taper and shoulder angle are the same as the 250. The Remington 40X match rifle has been chambered, on special order, for the Walker cartridge. The late John T. Amber reported 5/8-inch averages for five-shot, 100-yard groups with the Walker cartridge in the Remington 40X target rifle - impressive performance for that era.
