Anyone Using 155gr Lapua Scenars in LR FT/R

Just as the title asks, is anyone having good success with the 155gr Lapua Scenar for Long Range FT/R? I currently shoot the 155gr Palma SMK, but as my throat wears, I am running out bearing surface in the neck of the case. I need to start looking for another bullet to switch to eventually, and I'd like to stay with a 155gr bullet. The Scenar has a longer bearing surface so I should be able to chase the lands longer with them, and they have a higher BC to boot. Please share any experience you have with this bullet, especially for 1000yd FT/R, and especially with Varget as the powder of choice. Thanks!

I have used them for Palma (sling) in a 12 twist barrel and they are just as accurate as anything else I've shot. Because they seat deeper in the case I have to reduce the powder charge a little bit, so they load differently as you stated above, but there should be no accuracy issues in a 12 twist or faster barrel. Some have said that they shoot fine in a 13 twist but I didn't find that to be the case in my rifles. Actual powder decrease was 1.2 grains. You should test them with different charges before committing.
