Anyone use Mantis X ?

Wife thinks I need one for Christmas, I was looking for dry fire only, but maybe live fire would be good also. None of my handguns have a rail so all would have to have a sperate mount to attach to the magazine. Sounds like a $25 to alter each gun, and I didn't see anything about revolvers. have any of you guys /gals used this system? Would you recommend a different product?

I used one for a couple of years. It helped quite a bit, breaking old habits.

Doesn't Mantis also offer alternative of a chambered laser cartridge module instead of rail mount device?
Not totally familiar with their sysytem but if the rail mount means dry-firing on an empty chamber, not sure I'm down with that. Empty chamber dry firing to me is "no bueno".

Fun toy that gives info on my strange moves when coming to fire. Is it worth the money? Not in reality but i don't really live in reality, i live in a more fun world fighting for my like against all foes.

Sean Hannity promotes the Mantis X system.
My buddy Jim introduced me to the ELMS G- Sight system. They're great for semi-autos, no revolver system the last I looked. Great training aid to keep your skill sharp.

You can always buy good quality dummy rounds for your chambering with spring loaded primer pocket inserts.

I have one of them and you get the rounds that you want when you order it.I have a 9mm,10mm,40 cal and 45acp dummy round for mine it's a cool TOY .I also have a 38sp.round as well for my revolver

I can find the same video you posted but a website seems to be beyond my abilities. Could you give me some direction?

I’ve had one for a couple years now and I feel that it’s been helpful, providing useful feedback. I use mine for both dry and live fire, with the bulk of use being live fire. I use mine for CMP/NRA highpower rifle practice.

The only thing that takes getting used to is the “score” that the unit assigns when it records your shots. This score does not translate to an actual score when shooting at paper targets. I’d liken it to being graded as to how well you’re executing the fundamentals to obtain a “perfect” shot.

It’s definitely not on the same level as a SCATT, so don’t think that it will perform miracles for your shooting. It’s still a handy tool though.

Here’s some screen shots from this morning during some 200yd offhand practice

You can see the app gave me a “score” of a 76 in the second pic for breaking the shot low, but it was actually a wide 9 on an NRA SR target .
