Mantis X2 - Shooting Performance System

I am considering purchasing one of these trainers for use on my FTR rifle. They measure movement both from dry firing and at the range. They mount directly to a picatenny rail and can be used on pistols or rifles.

Especially with the ranges being closed right now, I thought this might be a great way to maintain and possibly improve my muscle memory.

I was wondering if any one has used one of these and what your opinion is of it.

Don't own one, but have used a buddy's. They're for pistol shooting, and MAYBE offhand rifle. You're not going to get anything out of it for F-class, or even prone/sling. You'll just get 99% all the time.

Good training aid, but not for something as steady as F-class.

This was my exact experience as well - I used a buddies, and it worked great for air pistol, and ordinary pistol. It worked so-so for offhand rifle. For prone rifle it didn't offer very much.
