Anyone use Hybrid 100 V Powder

I had a 28” 243 it loved the Hornady GMX. Hope this long barreled 6CM likes it as well.

H100V works great in the 6XC. I worked up a great accuracy load for the 112 Barnes Match Burner, then used that same charge weight for my short line loads with lighter bullets - super easy.

Best of all, it's super clean burning in my 6XC.

I have a 7mm SAUM that I had put together for hunting and I'm using SW4350. It's a little on the slow side and I may try the H100V for this as well with both 150gr and 163gr ELD-X. I bought a few 8lb jugs in 2020 and I'm still working through those (mostly because I switched to Service Rifle to work on my distinguished badge).

Try it, you'll like it. Good Luck,
Ross

There was nothing about it that I liked in a .243 shooting heavies. ES was all over the place and I had a hard time finding an accuracy node. It also left a hard stain on case necks. I had much better results with H4350.

I just read this thread and although its a bit old I thought I'd offer what I found with H100V in 7 SAUM.
I have a 7 SAUM load using H100V under Sierra GameKing 160 HPBT and CCI200 primer.
It shoots very well @ 2880fps in my Rem SS Model 7 22" .

well it's everywhere now and cheaper than most powders 269 for an 8 pounder..thought about trying some...it was the last to go along with N powders when the drought struck

Do you have any issues with temp swings? I read a few reports that it's one of the worst powders in this regard?
No.
But my accuracy nodes are down about 1gr from max loads.

Temp swings here in central PA range from mid to high 90s during the summer to single digits in the winter.

And it's a hunting rifle. Don't need benchrest accuracy.
