I have, unfortunately, owned several Sightmark products. All, without exception, were garbage.

Anything, especially mechanical or optical, made in China is poorly designed and executed trash made with cheap components. The glass is made from old soda bottles and mechanicals from pot metal.

I am still amazed how many Americans still haven't gotten the message "you get what you pay for". Even if their products weren't so useless, think about all the new military hardware they make with the profits from selling their trash to Americans.

Even if you can't buy "Made in U.S.A.", I recommend that at you at least avoid buying "Made in China". The geopolitical effects should be obvious to anyone who pays attention to current events.

I have no experience with the Diamondback or Crossfire lines, but I wouldn't buy them based on my experience with other Chinese products (see above). It is unfortunate that Vortex has bowed to the mass market with lower priced products.
I own several Vipers, and consider them to be the best value in the optics market by far. They are made with Philippine glass, which is on par in quality with the best available anywhere, considering the modest cost.
I am of very modest means and cannot afford a Razor, but I strongly recommend spending the extra money on a Viper. "Buy once, cry once." And that's one less Chinese warship threatening the Western Pacific.

I had 2 Vipers, both had malfunctions (e.g. windage turret broke). Sold them to life time warranty enthusiasts.
