Anyone tried the new Remington 700 trigger?

Hi,

I'm debating on getting a 700 BDL LH or CDL LH .243. I see they have a new and improved trigger for 2007. Is there any information on it?

A BDL could be had for about $100 less. The CDL stock looks better although a 22" barrel would be handier. Thanks.

Yeah, I got a new SPS S/S in 243 last month and it came with the new Mark X Pro Trigger, I think that's what it's called). Anyhoo, it's much better than the old style. I got mine adjusted down to around 2 lbs without having to change springs. One note though, it's wider than the old style and I had to relieve the Banser stock to get the barreled action to sit correctly in the stock. I was just relacing my triggers w/ Rifle Basix units but these are good enough to run,as is...

My smith could'nt get the new trigger below 4 lbs. Although it was crisp w/ no creep. I swapped it w/ another SS 700 trigger I had on another rifle. Go to gearlogde.com and get the jewell for 204.00 delivered and set it were you want.
