Anyone still shooting 123 amax in 6.5L?

My gun isn't loving the 130 gr bergers. It shoots them ok but it still is only at .5moa so I'm thinking about switching to another bullet. I want one that I can shoot groundhogs with but have a feeling I might just have to but that on the backburner. I'm thinking about the amax but it seems like its not the most popular boolit anymore? I'm also looking at the obvious 123 lapuas and the 130 ar bullets as well but I think the amax might give me more killing power on the hogs.

Any input?

I have had great results in my 6.5 L with the 123 A-max on coyotes and rockchucks at long range. They will expand at pretty much any distance you make a hit at. They shoot in the mid to low .3's for me. Good luck and good shooting.

I worked a load in mine with the 100 gr NBT and Benchmark powder and was getting 3300+ fps and less than 1 inch groups at 300 yards,,I am sure it would explode a groundhog also,,

I did a ladder today jumping the 0.030" with Varget and CCI 450s. I topped out at just over 3000 fps in a 23" barrel and all but one load shot under 0.5 MOA. So far I'm very pleased with this bullet.

I've used the Sierra 85 gr HP in my 6.5x47L on local varmints with good success.

I shot that caliber for several years and it was just a PITA. That is until I went with CCI 450 primers. I swear, it was like having two different rifles. I use Tula primers for everything else, but the 450's made all the difference in the world in that cartridge.
