Anyone recognize this stamp on my barrel ?

I bet you're right 7mm. I remember when the PPC was born. If I remember right they started out w/22 cal and quickly went to 6mm. ( I might be wrong on that)

The 6mm PPC (Palmisano & Pindel Cartridge)
I didn't know why it was called ppc.

Interesting read.

I was told around 800 rounds on it. Still shoots really really good .... I wouldn't think it was that old of a barrel.
It's on my Hunter class rifle. 6x scope.
100 yds indoor i have no trouble hitting a dime.

It's a 6 PPC (Pindell & Palmisano Cartridge) with a .262 diameter tight neck built by Ferris Pindell whose shop was located just outside of Connersville, Indiana.

Both Ferris and Dr.Palmisano were true gentlemen and fun to be around. Ferris was the best machinist I've ever been around and built many custom reloading dies and some of the best reloading presses etc.. I have ever seen and used. It was a sad day when he passed on.
