I've seen some very good Wilson barrels. Not that I would put them in the same category as a premium barrel day in and day out, but they really aren't bad. I think they all get luck every once in a while. Just like top shooters, if you're good, you get lucky a lot! Cooper uses Wilson and the old Winchester m70 Heavy Varminters were Wilson barrels. Those are two of the best shooting factory rifles ever made, IMO.
Good info, I didn't know that, my Cooper M21 in 204 was my most accurate factory rifle so far.
I had a Kreiger in 6mmART40 which shot better than this Wilson but not by much. These are gas guns so if I can get easy 3/4moa laying down off a Harris bipod I'm okay with that.
I wasn't happy with this 6mmFatrat Wilson at all at first but I'm good now since I tried the 95 SMK.
I do like the lower recoil of the 95's as well, plus at basically 100 fps faster than I was pushing 105's and the .5BC doesn't do too bad in the wind.
