Anyone loading 46 gr winchester h.p. in .22-250?

Wanting to duplicate winchester white box ammo in my .22-250. Ordered 500 of these bullets today. Anyone load them in their 1-14" rifles? I have varget and imr 4064. Thanks, Rob.

I don't load them but they are a good shooting little bullet. I would think the 4064 would be great for them. My buddies 223 shoots the white box ammo into a .500 all day. Its just a Savage 10FP.

Winchester white box ammo shoots .3 in my buddy's 22/250. He can't find a load that shoots that well! But I think those 46 hp are designed for 22 hornet velocities, I did the same thing with my Swift many years ago, I loaded some hornet type bullets in her and they disintegrated and came out like 12 shot.

Those bullets are for the 22 hornet. I use them in my 22-250 for reduced loads (12gr blue dot). Very accurate. I stole them for what I paid for them.

Heck, doesn't sound like money down the drain to me. In your 1/14 barrel, I'd try them up to 3500 or so. Or, I could send you maybe fitty five bucks for them. jd
