Anyone loading 41 special?

Fairly new to reloading but would like to start loading some 41 caliber special and magnum. I’ve been happy w HS-6 powder in my 38 special loads, but obviously data is very limited for the 41 special rounds. Somewhat limited on powder right now as there is nothing in stock local. Is anyone loading this caliber with HS-6 or H110? Thanks

The .41Special is is one of those “answer to a question nobody asked” things. Just use a 41 mag starting load with H110.

I've had a number of 41 Mags. Ruger single action and S&W, I also had a Marlin Lever Action, shot it two different times, jammed both times, needed to disassemble to fix. It shot 50yd groups dinner plate size, I could shoot the revolvers 'off hand' better. Gone quick. I used a medium load of 2400 and 200 grain jacketed and hard cast lead. Good bullets weren't easy to get. Had pretty good luck with 'Leadhead' cast bullets. My goal was to shoot a deer form my drift boat, in deer season, while fishing. never got the opportunity. The Marlin was to be my "just in case" gun under my leg on horse back, in the 'up there country'. In stead I carried the revolver and practiced more. The 41 Mag is a wonderful cartridge, more powerful than a 357 and more manageable that a 44. The ability to 'get back on target' is important, especially if the target shoots back.

Old, I know, but I'm interested in .41 Special loading. I have .41 Special brass and 210gr. plated FN bullets. I need load recipes. Anyone got sources to recommend?

I wish I could get Handloader #305 but they are sold out of that back issue. And I don't know what Shooting Times to try to find.

Well, is there data for .40 s&w with 200gr bullets?
I know they have 180s because I load those.
Yeap there is.
Also 41 AE data has a 210 load in my Hornaday 9th ed.

I wonder how the case volume would compare? More for me to look into.
