Anyone load precision rifle on a dillon progressive?

Erik doesn't shoot 8's and rarely shoots 9's. Erik's methods work for him as he consistently is at the top of the score board for his discipline. I would bet he would fare just fine in many other disciplines as well as he is a fierce competitor and a smart guy.

I didn't read the 4 pages of this topic and I don't need to. Use whatever reloading method you want. If you are not winning, maybe you need to change something. I know there is nearly an unlimited amount of equipment you can buy that might improve your performance. Only you can decide where the madness stops.

Haha Scott, you are too kind! While that's not 100% accurate, I will say that when I shoot a 9 or (eek!) an 8, it's generally because I missed a condition change or just plain shot a bad shot.

It just keeps going and going and going.....................................and going.
Three pages ago I was tempted to chime in and thank everyone for there input but did not for fear of bumping the thread back to the top.
Since it keeps jumping back up anyway, Thank you all for the input.

I wish I could remember his last name, but there was a guy at Dillons' who shot a 6PPC in BR. Daryl somebody. He used to show up at BR matches and load on a 550. Neil Jones measure, but the rest was Dillon out of the box. He was a consistent Top Ten guy. When I shot HBR I loaded at the range with my 550, and used one of Neil's measures.. Finished in the top five at every match I shot for three years.

Another High Power shooter who doesn't know as much as Sparky123321 named Tubbs loads his ammunition on a 550, last I read in Zediker's book.

Obviously you missed the part about Tubbs and Whidden both shooting and breaking records using fully automated Dillon progressive presses and the fact I load my 223 on a 1050 and posted the group of what it's capable of shooting. Recently I attended a shoot at a friends and I was hitting Tums at 300 yards with Dillon loaded ammo. Again it has been proven by national champion shooters and I'd love to compare concentricity of my loaded rounds with yours. I have inlign dies and arbor presses as well and I am as anal on my loaded rounds as anyone who competes at a high caliber match or even fun shoots. If I wasn't confident using my Dillon I wouldn't be using it. Now as for presses in my stable I have a coax press a redding T7 2 Dillon 1050s and 4 650 and one 550 and three arbor presses. So I would think my knowledge of what I own and use and my history of shooting competitions should speak well for itself.
Hey James why don't you sell a few of those presses and keep the lathe. Sorry couldn't resist and I meant it sincerely not as a SA
