anyone know where 105 berg vlds are in stock

My drawer.:) I got some with my new/used 6br and I don't want to waste them on my bad chamber job. I have almost 200 each of plain and moly coated. Lot 0000442 and0001067. If they would get you out of a pinch, I'll send them up to ya. I also May be heading to Cabela's tomorrow . I could see what they have. Just replace them when ya find more. And if we shoot together, you can't use them against me! Let me know, Josh.

Thanks Judd, I just looked there.

Josh thanks for the generous offer but I'm looking to score like 1,000 for this year. My new BR barrel is really liking them, its kinda slow but very accurate. Do you ever shoot Bridgeville? Thanks again

Yes, but they screwed up the membership. They won't let you bring any guests anymore. They went "liberal". Some guy brought some friends and they shot up the place so the rest of the good members had to pay for it with a change in the guest policy. Good luck with your bullet hunt.

OOOOO don't say the L word ;) Thats crazy to punish everyone like that, well maybe I'll catch you there for a match or we can try to shoot somewhere else. I'll be knee deep in my new(er) barrel here soon.

There was a bunch in the classified a few days ago. Did you check Bullets.com? I like the VLD hunting version. Don't be afraid to try them. They have been really good in my gun. Matt

o_O dang! Matt I've tried and really wanted the hunting VLD's to work. They have better BC and are many times cheaper. But in my BR the targets were always about .1-.2 MOA better than the hunting no matter what I tried so I'm going with the targets. . which kinda sucks honestly because I wanted the hunting to work real bad.

That's funny my gun is the opposite. Maybe you got a bad lot. Did you try them in the lands a little harder? Sometimes they are different in bearing to pressure ring and need a different seating depth. Matt

I tried .005 off hard jam to about .020 off lands and the targets just kept doing better. Those hunting didn't do bad at all though, (this was all at 100) they were around .2-.3 but the targets were .1-.2 and held it out to 200 better as well (keep in mind I don't shoot that far) I'm not totally done with the hunting though. I have a 6x47L in the works and try to shoot them in that and when it warms up I'll try again in the BR but for now those targets are what it likes

As an alternative to the VLD, the 105 Hybrid is in stock at powder valley. My 6br really liked the VLD's but is even better with the hybrids.
My 6mm BR Norma likes the 105 Hybrid bullets pushed by IMR 4895 at 2% over max published charge weight. At the moment, it's my favorite F-Class recipe.

A lot of people are shooting and a lot of them are shooting Bergers. Look at the equipment lists for F-Class or IBS shoots. Most are shooting Bergers. They buy in big quantities so they can sort and so they can shoot all year without running out. Now take in all the hunters and it is a lot of bullets. Berger is not the only one that is hard getting bullets from. Matt

Thanks much Matt. I thought of that but honestly didn't realize the extent of it....much bigger than I imagined but that's a good thing.
