Sure doesn't sound like the Paul that I have dealt with. There must be some legitimate reason this has happened.Paid for die two months ago and will not answer e mail's. Goes by Pbike on this forum.

Two months is an awful long time to wait for an item that was paid for. Especially when a seller promises a date of shipment. I can't speak of your seller or his situation. I believe somewhere in the rules or site regulations, when a seller fails to ship an item within a reasonable time period( unless disclosure of shipping delay) or follows up with correspondence within a reasonable time with shipment info, they should ship first and receive payment after item arrives to buyer. Turn the tables on the individual that have inconvenienced his buyer or worse. If they don't agree, find another forum to post classifieds on. Again from my experience with a certain seller, this needs to be the case. Otherwise, he keeps getting down in honest buyers with no inconvenience to himself. This shouldn't offend anybody that's an honest person. Aren't we all suppose to be honest buyers and sellers. I just read a bunch of good reviews of this guy and many others that have left buyers wondering when they will get there items purchased. Just my opinion. Nobody likes being left in the dark after paying for an item. I'm sure there are good reasonable excuses for some of these delays where others, not so much. Again, I don't know this seller and this opinion does not pertain to him due to me not knowing THIS situation. It's an in general opinion based on MY isolated experience and incident.
Ya maybe but what's really the issue at hand is people not getting what they pay for and not receiving any contact after funds are sent. Kind of irrelavent whether the items are custom or otherwise. I do understand items that are being fabricated but this isn't the case normally.I understand your point but these are custom manufactured items. It's a different ball game in my experience.
This is the end of me taking up for Paul, but in my own defense, like it or not, I think you hit the nail on the head when you said that we're all busy...ther's always something that needs to be done, even if it's just 10 minutes. I will say that it's human nature to deal with what's in front of you at any given moment, when overwhelmed feeling. May I suggest that you call him instead of waiting for him to call you? It's not that you're wrong..just that some understanding and sympathy for the supplier, in the form of taking it upon yourself to call...again, is all it takes, could go a long way. I know that this is what I would want my buyers to do if there's an issue. There is a difference is custom made items, that are only a part time job for many, if not most suppliers in this industry. If you could buy it at Wal-Mart, maybe you should in some cases, but that isn't the case here, nor is the availability nor man-power. Just my .02 cents. In an ideal world, we could always go to the local family owned shop and walk out with whatever we want, but we are a small market and many part time people are who supplies our wants for this sport. Or...you can always invest in a lathe, mill, training, and all of the tooling to do it yourself. That often is the difference in whether or not a lead time and product price is acceptable or not. It's hard for me to believe that someone doesn't have ten minutes at some point within their day to answer an email or make that phone call. It's all about priorities.IMO
