Anyone know David Navarro from Florida?

Maybe he deals a lot and this one just slipped thru a crack. I'd get a paypal account and let him pay you that way. I get paid on a Monday and transfer the money to my bank on Monday. Add in 3% or ask for a gift.

Not passing the sniff test pal. If I can ask, why didn't you receive payment before shipping the item ? That's typically what happens here in the classifieds.

Some people and businesses expect a higher standard from the shooting community. They actually expect someone to keep their word.
Wes has been turning necks on brass and selling to me for a few years now. He ships the invoice in the box. Same with Bart you order his Bullets they show up with the invoice in the box.

I am a man of my word and I do unto others as I would have them do unto me. There are a bunch of guys here that I've dealt with and found them to be completely honorable. I'm sure there are a lot more people on this board besides those that I've met, that feel and conduct business the same way. I have sent items before payment was received. Sometimes, you get a bad apple. Sad to see. One of the problems with dealing with us "old guys" is sometimes we just plain forget. I was hoping this was the case here. Good luck, Josh

There are dirtbags all over. Hopefully that's not the case in this instance. I've sold allot of stuff over the internet through the years and it's customary to receive payment first. On sites I frequent I try to learn as much as I can about the individual before dealing with them sometimes even giving them a call. It's tough to send a person $2 or $3000 for a gun before it's in hand. I've only been taken once years ago, that was because of my haste, it was an expensive lesson but one well learned. Good luck. Gabe

I can't remember who it was I bought from here but was astounded to get the item the day I mailed the check. He just trusted me. Made me wish i had sent a tip. I felt like I had gone back thirty years in time to how it used to be. There are some really good folk on this site.

I'll add to my previous comment with what Draws me to purchase an item here, besides my want or need. Post count/forum involvement, Site contribution and positive feedback. If I see none of the above, I shy away.

If it's a few bucks like maybe $20.00 or $30.00, I can see sending an item before funds are received. After all, if the person doesn't send the $$, my guess is they needed it more than I did. I would appreciate it more if they just said so.
If you're talking "hundreds" or even more, SHOW ME THE MONEY!!;)

We ALL expect honesty when we buy from the classifieds. Just because we send payment before receiving an item doesn't mean we will get the item. It's all about trusting the people here in this forum. At this point I'm batting almost 1000. Let's keep it that way.

I choose to do business this way with my shooting peers, knowing full well of the consequences of my choices. I have been making brass for customers for many years, and all but a couple have been perfect transactions. This incident alone will not cause me to change the way I do business.

But... I sure would like to get my money. :-)

Exactly. It's tough to treat all people for the deviance of a few. Good luck

He has not responded to the last couple of emails. I was able to see his business address for him on one of his email signatures. So I called his office number in Miami and left a message.
