need advice Night force, Zeiss, Sightron, Bushnell. no longer considerin leupold

I don`t know if this will help but based on what I read on this forum I also bought the Sightron 8-32x50 put it on a 6xc tactical rifle in late 2008, I haul it around in my car, hunt coyotes, long range varmint matches, it took 6 of 8 tactical matches in 2009 I am always twisting the knobs and it has still kept its original ZERO!!! Thanks guys for a great forum there is a ton of wisdom on this site!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would really recommend giving Larry a call....talk to him about the SIII scope. I spoke with him a little while back about the new 10-50 power scope that's due out any time. It was a very beneficial conversation....I'm on Larry's waiting list for the new scope.

Larry is an absolute pleasure to do business with!! I would highly recommend working with him on your scope purchase.

The only 2 reasons I picked the Nightforce over the Sightron (current model anyways) is
1. 1/8 moa clicks vs. 1/4 moa. It matters at 1000yds if you want to not have to hold off
2. The 1/4 MOA target dot vs. the Nightforces tiny dot ( I use a NP2DD) covers more of the target than I would like at 1000yds.

I went from the 8-32x to the 12-42x as when there is little mirage, I can go up higher than the 32x and put it to good use.

Just me personally. The Glass, trackability, etc. of the Sightron seems to be on par w/ the Nightforce overall in my examination. I have had both the Sightron III 8-32x LRD, Nightforce 8-32x NP2DD to compare side by side. My 2 Cents

i have a 36x42 sightron. does not track i send back to be fix. is a good scope i use to shoot 600 yds . now every body compare sightron Vs niteforce come people your are blind o what. look top shooters what they are using. niteforce is the best scope for presicion shooting in the market today. if you look the benchrest shooter top is niteforce. i think sightron is a good scope but not as good as niteforce & i have a 12-42x56.

The new SIII 10-50X60 will have 1/8" clicks. If it's as good as my 8-32x56 Sightrons I'll be happy. I can't wait to get it in my hands and yes I've been on Larry's waiting list for months.

RJ

Since I'm apparently the ONLY one sold on 1/8" click performance from an American-Made Burris Signature Select scope, I rest my typing fingers . . . cliffy
